Services to Maintain Independence and Life Efficacy INC’s (S.M.I.L.E. INC’s) Entry to Exit (E²) Navigators are trusted, certified professionals who combine lived experience with professional expertise to walk alongside justice-involved youth as they transition from placement back into their communities. Through authentic relationships, mentorship, advocacy, and practical support, E² Navigators help young people navigate complex systems, overcome barriers, connect with education, employment, housing, and other resources, and take meaningful steps toward their goals. Most importantly, they provide a consistent, caring presence that meets youth where they are, builds on their strengths, and supports them in creating a positive path forward.
